Even on a decently busy evening, I only waited couple of minutes for food to arrive (no, it wasn't something that is pre-prepared).
Location is fantastic; right in the heart of Reading, a mere 30 seconds from the train station. Well decorated but not garish, though perhaps a little more effort into comfortable seating wouldn't go a miss.
Service was spectacular! I was served by Anna, whom was prompt, accommodating, and served with a fantastic smile. -Brightened my day for sure.

Read moreVisited here on Saturday evening with a friend who is a coeliac, so cannot eat gluten at all. We were enquiring which of the ice creams were gluten free, and the man behind the counter was quite useless and rude.
He didn’t seem to care or understand that not being able to eat gluten can cause people illness and real discomfit. His response to which ice creams were GF was ‘no idea, check the menu yourselves, and it’s the management not me who will get sued anyway’ !!
This is not helpful to anyone, and shows not only a huge lack of customer service skills, but that he hasn’t had the appropriate training on how to deal with anyone with dietary issues.
