PREMIER SUITES - Serviced Apartments Reading — Hotel in Reading

We stayed here in September for a family wedding|Between us, family and friends I think we’d booked out 10 apartments for 2 nights|Instructions were really clear on how to register our cars and get to the designated parking via the bus lane |The reception team were really helpful and knowledgable giving us directions and recommendations when needed|We stayed in apartment 17 as a family of 4, it was really clean however the lounge did smell of cigarettes |It had everything we needed except the listed ‘cleaning supplies’ no plug hole cover to be able to fill the sink, no sponges or tea towels but there were dishwasher and washing machine tablets |Also coffee/tea sachets and some water in the fridge ||The only downside about our trip was from Friday to Sunday the lift did not work. We had suitcases and a baby in a pram, so we had to carry a pram, bags and 2 kids up and down 4 flights of stairs every time we went in and out. There were even more stairs down to the basement car park|If you park and are on the top floor then you’ll be doing at least 9 flights of stairs.|I asked reception on the Friday when it would be fixed and she advised Saturday morning but that didn’t happen. I can imagine it being broken is a common theme so don’t stay here if you’re in a wheelchair, have lots of luggage, prams or are not...

So, I don't know. But Premier Suites Reading has two buildings. I was only here in the main building 4 months ago, and past the other building everyday, Without realising. ||So I have come back to reading, using the Premier Suites, directly as I was impressed by price, location and quality of the apartment.||I arrived a bit earlier than planned, and was offered a room, sorry apartment in the other building ( if you know the area, it's on the same road, otherside by the cake/bakery shop on the corner)|There is only 5 apartments on the 5th and only floor available|Mine didn't have the best view, which overlooked the oracle shopping centre roofline.|But wasn't here for views, as said before, price location and quality of furnishings |This was a short stay. But enjoyed it very much. And being even closer to the main pedestrian shopping area||Best thing to having your home comforts, and being in the city centre too||Photos were taken, but they just didn't show the size of the living room, with open plan kitchen and single extra king size bed...

I stayed in Premier Suites for, almost, 2.5 months, between June and August. The location of the apartments is in the city center (5 minutes from train station, behind the Oracle Mall, close to Super Markets, restaurants). The apartment was modern (colors, design), the furniture were new and in good condition, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped (kitchen, oven, freeze, fridge, washing machine, dish washer, cutlery, pots etc.), bathroom as well. There is an open space for smokers, without going outside of the building. I was very satisficed with the management support (Laura Granthman) and the clearing services (Once per week). Since I was working from the apartment several days, they provided me (without any additional charges) an office chair and a desk, which were very helpful.
