Lara and Jess were both welcoming, we weren't rushed at any point. I did feel like advertising "a bar" online was a bit of an oversell, but the waiting area was nice enough and we were able to compare stories afterwards. Lara got our second group through the viking room with some last minute clues and Jess played her part brilliantly in our sun god room - I thought she was part of the recording at first! As a first timer, I thoroughly enjoyed the game, it was intriguing and great fun as part of a group of 4. I hadn't realised there would be quite as much to solve as there was, so I would recommend going for clues when you're struggling to make progress. At times there did seem to be a lack of light but I think this is probably part of the challenge and was inkeeping with the overall theme. I think I can safely speak for both of our groups when I say, we will definitely be coming back for more..!

I came on Sunday with a group of friends and completed the Viking themed escape room. This is our second with Escape Hunt, and although we enjoyed this a little less than the Alice room, it was still a lot of fun! Our games master was Kaitlin, and what a surprise to meet the voice of the Gods in person!! She was a wonderful games master, giving just the right level of hints. The room itself probably needs some updates. It wasn't suitable for 5 of us; not enough room and not enough puzzles. A few things were broken or needed a lot of persuasion, leading to us using more hints than we would normally. But these are small concerns in what is a fantastically themed and well thought out game. I can't wait to come back and do another!

My partner and I decided that the “Alice in puzzle land” sounded like a fun. It was our first time doing an escape room together so wanted to try a theme we knew. We had the wonderful Harvey be our Cheshire Cat, who guided us through the game in character! We started off strong, then got a bit lost but then found our feet eventually! Thanx to the CC watching over us ;) Thankfully me and my boyfriend worked well together and made it out with 24 secs to spare! Woohoo! I especially loved the download of how well we worked together, which was a nice touch. This room is called a linear room which (I learnt) means each puzzle reveals the next. So I thought it was perfect for a couple or beginners. Can’t wait to try another room!

Review of Escape Hunt Reading - 5 Stars

I recently visited Escape Hunt in Reading, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! If you're looking for a fun and engaging way to spend an afternoon, this is definitely the place to be.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, setting the tone for an exciting adventure. The venue itself is beautifully themed, immersing you in a world of mystery and intrigue. The attention to detail in the decor and setup really enhances the overall experience, making you feel like you're stepping into a different time and place.

We chose one of the escape rooms that had a thrilling storyline, and it did not disappoint! The puzzles were cleverly designed, challenging our problem-solving skills while still being accessible enough for everyone in our group to contribute. The combination of teamwork, communication, and a bit of creativity made for an exhilarating experience as we raced against the clock to solve the mystery.

One of the highlights was how the staff guided us through the experience. They were attentive and provided just the right amount of hints when we needed them, ensuring that we stayed on track without giving too much away. Their passion for escape rooms was evident, and it added a personal touch to our visit.

After our escape adventure, we enjoyed some time in the lounge area, where we could relax and reflect on our experience. It was a great way to wind down and share our favorite moments.

Overall, I highly recommend Escape Hunt Reading for anyone looking for a fun and immersive experience. Whether you're a seasoned escape room enthusiast or a first-timer, you're guaranteed to have a blast. I can't wait to return and try out some of the other...

Absolutely Amazing Team Experience!

I recently took my team to Escape Hunt in Reading for a night out, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, enthusiastic, and made sure we were fully briefed on our chosen escape room challenge. The atmosphere was electric, and the puzzles were brilliantly designed—challenging yet rewarding. It was the perfect balance of teamwork, creativity, and fun.

The attention to detail in the room was impressive, and the immersive storyline really pulled us in. Every clue felt satisfying to solve, and the entire team left buzzing with excitement. It was the perfect activity to bond and work together in a fun, pressure-free environment.

I can’t recommend Escape Hunt enough for both team-building events or just a fun night out with friends. We’ll definitely be back to tackle more rooms in the future! Thanks to the amazing team for a...
