A Truly Exceptional Experience at Bill’s Reigate

I had the pleasure of dining at Bill’s Reigate recently, and I must say, our experience was made truly unforgettable thanks to our incredible waitress, Juliet. From the moment we arrived, Juliet greeted us with a warm, genuine smile that immediately set the tone for a fantastic meal.

Throughout our visit, Juliet was attentive, professional, and radiated positivity, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring that we were comfortable and satisfied every step of the way. Her attention to detail, from refilling our drinks to checking in on our meal, was nothing short of exceptional.

What really stood out was her personal touch—her friendly, yet unobtrusive manner created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like we were the most important guests in the restaurant. Yesterday, on 5th of March, we had a booking for the birthdays of 2 family members. Despite of our good memories last year when we visited the restaurant, this time is the second and the last time we will go. On our arrival, the staff saw we had flowers but did not offer us a vase with water for them, we had to ask for it. Also, even after we reminded them, although it was obvious that it was a birthday party, they did not suggest any birthday candles, or a little surprise, which was very disappointing. One of the waitresses was a bit too friendly but only with the men at the table - she kept saying 'darling' every time she was addressing them which was a bit confusing. Also some of the staff looked bored and we didn't feel welcome at all, although the restaurant wasn't busy at this time. The food was tasty but unfortunately, that was not enough to make up for the whole experience. Truly, this is my first negative comment ever, but this is also my objective opinion...

I've always enjoyed Bill's as it's ever so slightly up market with regards to the food without being overly lacking in size. Food is always presented well and the taste is fantastic. I would strongly recommend visiting for a coffee or even some breakfast. The price is moderate for the general selection of plates and the staff are extremely welcoming and can't help but their politeness. I took my two year old and he suddenly became picky and didn't want to eat his pancakes which was frustrating but the waiter we had was ever so polite and understanding and gave him something else without charging us for the neglected dish.

We didn't ask nor suggest such a thing but he did it for us and that's the type of kind action that makes me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer and that's why I would always visit again. Not to mention the fantastic...
