Favorite Chicken & Ribs Rayleigh — Restaurant in Rochford

We’ve just started using these guys because we’ve just moved into the area. Their chicken is really nice, not fatty and hubby likes the ribs. Everything is in paper bags/card, so all recyclable. What I’m most impressed with is their customer service . Really I am - listen to this:

They forgot our coleslaw On our first order which we put down to human error, they did deliver it but about 30 minutes later. No good, I’d already eaten everything else. So the second time, well I’m afraid I got annoyed. The guy who delivered it was super apologetic and said he’s going to deal with it when he gets back, so I phoned the place and - unfortunately - got a bit cross with the guy on the phone after they told me they’d send it again. I didn’t want it after I’d eaten my dinner, it sat in the fridge forgotten last time. However, about 1 minute after putting the phone down this time, our delivery guy was back standing there with coleslaw that he’d bought at the shop.

Now that’s what you call customer...

Having ordered from here many times in the past they have forgotten to deliver either the beans or the corn and we've let it go. But this time they forgot a whole meal. When we called to advise the manager said it would be sent out with the next delivery. There was no apology, almost as if they knew it had happened. We asked if they could put in some new chips as the ones we had won't be that nice once reheated, and he refused. I think the least they could do knowing they had made a mistake would be to provide a small token, but this was refused. Our meal arrived 25 mins later. We won't be using...

After a bad day in work and a nightmare drive home I thought it would be nice to get a takeaway, I chose favourite chicken in Rayleigh, they gave me a delivery time and I thought great, I can have a shower, get cleaned up, ready for my delivery, the food was 35 mins late, if you have ever had cold soggy chops and cold greasy chicken it's not nice, o wish I'd have cancelled the order, and cooked myself beans on toast, would be quicker hotter and tastier, I strongly do not recommend favourite chicken, dominos pizza is cheaper and better value, anywhere other than the cold , greasy mess...
