Tried this place for dine in for the first time after hearing the food was great, the food was in fact great.. very tasty couldn’t fault it. However, the atmosphere wasn’t great, we walked in despite booking the table in advance but he seemed very confused and wasn’t expecting us. The waiter seemed grumpy the whole time, didn’t crack a smile.. I asked to take left overs home and said exactly what I wanted to take and said no to the other bits he asked but he still packed the whole lot. The service was slow.. didn’t seem too bothered about taking our order and it wasn’t busy, 3 tables taken. Gave us a pudding menu and we sat for half an hour before we just gave up and asked for the bill. I’d probably order a takeaway but I wouldn’t eat in again. Also the restaurant says on the outside fully licensed and air coned which didn’t have either. And no mention of this on their website...
Read moreAVOID AT ALL COSTS - Order was 2 hours late, they sent us the completely wrong food and missed out food, when we asked for the correct food the manager was absolutely vile towards us and point blank refused to give us our money back or food and said we were lying to get free food!!!! Not to mention the food was also cold and the portion sizes - small for what your paying. Very upset with how we were treated and they would have robbed us our money if we hadn’t gone down and demanded either our money back or the correct dishes. No customer service at all and they have now lost 11 customers. The manager needs to be re-trained in customer service as he was rude and aggressive. Not a nice restaurant at all - first time in my whole life have I ever felt the need to complain about any restaurants. Awful place, Food very average, Service was the worst...

The service was friendly and attentive, and the décor is nicely done—modern yet warm, with some cultural touches that make it feel inviting.
We stuck to vegetarian options and tried two paneer-based main dishes. They were decent but nothing particularly memorable in terms of flavor or presentation. If you’re looking for a solid vegetarian meal, it’ll do the job, but we were hoping for a bit more boldness in the seasoning, especially given the rich flavors usually found in Bengali cuisine.
Overall, it’s a clean, pleasant place with kind staff. Might be worth exploring their non-vegetarian menu next time, as that seems to be...
