I wouldn’t even give this place a one star rating but have to in order to review, today I was with my three year old daughter who asked me if she could have an ice cream so as we was waking past I stoped at the side serving window and waited for someone to take my order, when the lady opened the service window, she just said “yeah” to witch I said please could I have a coffee and was just about to say Ice cream when she very rudely said “u can’t get hot drinks here this is for cold drinks and ice cream ok , iv got a cue in here “and slammed the window shut on my face , when I said I don’t like your attitude through the glass and that I’m telling Stella she laughed at me and said she don’t own it no more and proudly walked away , iv never felt so humiliated and disrespected as a paying customer, iv eaten here once before and it’s over priced , all staff make you feel like you are putting them out , portions are small and under cooked , not an enjoyable place to go at all , I would love to speak to management before putting this review up but can’t seem to find any contact details for who it is , I’m not going to stop here as I feel very angry about this horrible, disrespectful, women who should not be in this job , and won’t stop until she is sacked or I...

My elderly father has just been treated appallingly, my father has dementia, I took him to the Cafe for some fresh air and a chance to get out.. we wanted to sit outside but you can only have paper cups, I said can we have a mug please as my dad has trouble holding paper cups with his dementia also he has the shakes I would hate for him to pour boiling coffee over himself..No was the answer, you will have to sit inside I said my dad sits inside alot as he has dementia I would like him to enjoy a nice time sat in the sun with a cup of coffee that isn't dangerous. The young man barked how he didn't care about dementia there are no exceptions I said so your disabled policy is you can come but you will do as you are told..he pretty much said yeah that's how it is... Use to love this place now its rude and disrespectful, let's hope that young man doesn't find himself caring for his elderly parents and receives the same hostile approach or even has a disability later that affects his social life ..horrible rude...

This place is less than avg, I’ve said this before on my other reviews of cafes. The fighting cocks sets the standards for this. It’s a very high and unfair bar to set.

How ever, £17 gets you a giant breakfast bulging with the very best ingredients, so when I go to cafes that serve a breakfast at over half this price. I expect 1 of 2 things,

Cheap ingredients and a full plate leaving you bloated. Or half the ingredients, but using the very best in the process, with the flavours dancing all over your tastebuds.

Ether one is what I expect, and you do ether, I’m gonna come back, time and time again
