The Taj Mahal — Restaurant in Rother

This was our go to take out for the best chicken balti and service locally for more years than I can remember, then last year something changed? New ownership? New chef? September 24 we ordered our normal and christ know what they sent out, but it wasn't a balti, we called to let them know only to pretty much be called liars, even though we had been regular customers for years. They did replaced the curry after more fuss then there ever should have been and the replacement curry was on par, but not as good as there was a slightly bitter taste in my mouth after the customer service (we had never had cause to complain previously). Mistakes happen and early November we decided to order again, and low and behold the wrong order came out again!! After our last encounter of their customer service the curry was binned and a vow not to return. Such a shame as we have mot been able to find a curry that matched their one we had enjoyed for many years. Devoted customers to zero customers...

TAJ MAHL BEXHILL 😡 What a bad experience!!

so i ordered about 6pm it was due at 7.20 I rung at 7.30 to see where it was they said it was coming I rung back at 7.50 to ask where it was as it was 30 minutes late, whilst I was the phone they laughed at me and was very rude they hung up 3 times on me my food arrived at 8pm 40 minutes late, it was cold. I asked for a refund and they were very rude I told them I will send it back but he said he will throw it in the bin and I don’t agree with wasting food.

They were extremely rude and even laughed down the phone to me at one point which upset me! This is our anniversary & They completely ruined the evening. I wouldn’t recommend them and will not be returning. They have very poor customer service skills.

The delivery man him self couldn’t have been nicer though, my issue is completely with the restaurant and how awful they are with talking...

I took my wife here for our 2nd visit, this one was for her birthday. We visited earlier in the month and met Abdul and Shami the New owners , we were so impressed last time we went and wanted to confirm the positive changes since they took over, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. If your looking for a meal out in Bexhill and you enjoy amazing Indian food , full of flavours herbs and spices this is the place to go… I CAN HONESTLY SAY YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED EITHER. 5 STAR ALL ROUND FOOD SERVICE ETC. If your a curry club member reading this , get yourselves over to Bexhill 👍a real gem under these new owners. We will be going again very soon to try another dish or two each.
