Tuesday 4th February 2025 Tonight we came into this great old fashioned real ale pub A propper locals pub with unspoilt bar and interiors of pub for a great range of real ales kept well When in Rotherham, this pub is a must to visit.

This pub is good, and even though the barman was not very nice with photos took its understandable. Thursday 2nd October 2025 I again came into this great old fashioned real ale pub. This through pub is a edwardian styled pub the landlord and staff were excellent and friendly good local and football following in this real ale pub and a multitude of hand pulled ales on offer. This is what you call a proper oldy worthy pub, open fire . Friendly people and chris and bar staff fabulous. Real Yorkshire ales from chantry brewery tap . You will get a warm welcome Come give it a try .fabulous range of other beers and spirits. Match days packed , other times more comfortable. Juke box if you want any music on . Had some smashing times with family and friends . We held my two brothers birthday's there and we was dancing and singing the night away . My brother Paul was so proud of new York tavern and I'm sure he be stood having a mighty Miller at bar in spirit. Proper...

A very nice pub serving an excellent range of beers. We travelled recently from Ipswich for football, only to arrive in Rotherham and find the game postponed. However because we had a wasted journey and we're soaking wet with rain and cold, the landlord very kindly bought us a round. Much to our surprise, the barman bought us the next round. The locals were all very friendly people and were kind and understanding of our fruitless journey. Disappointed at the postponement, but the good folk of Rotherham are alright. We will call again when the game is rearranged. Come on you blues....and...
