Me and my husband went there for breakfast one morning. We ordered a âcookedâ breakfast. When it came out it looked lovely and there was lots more on the plate than many other places Iâve been to. But the mushrooms were completely raw. My first thought was thatâs so weird Iâve never ordered a cooked breakfast where they give you raw mushrooms. Now Iâm not petty enough to give a bad review just because of a few raw mushrooms. So hereâs why - we called the waiter over and said the breakfast is lovely but the mushrooms are raw, to which the waiter replied what do you mean by raw? We said well there un cooked. He said the word raw is only used for meat.....I said no it just means un cooked and I would have liked these mushrooms to be cooked seen as I ordered a cooked breakfast! He carried on arguing and said no raw is only used when talking about meat. I said well you can get raw carrots everybody has heard that before! He said no you donât cook vegetables but I can âwarm them upâ for you. đ i couldnât work out if he was just unbelievably thick or just annoyed that we werenât happy with the mushrooms. He took the mushrooms away in a serviet and they came back clearly microwaved all shrivelled up and chewy! He just didnât need to argue with us, everywhere COOKS their mushrooms!!! Found...

Cheap and cheerful , well there was nothing cheerful about this experience . So dark you could hardly read menu , cold coffee , ordered cold drinks they came in cans "do we want glasses " well I could have sat in the bright sunshine if I wanted to drink out of a can !!! Ordered a children's meal as daughter wanted the bag of apple , nothing said when ordered so assumed would come after main when I asked oh we don't have them ! On speaking to others never have them so why on menu ! Husband had a chicken wrap the chicken was so slimey it was disgusting , my daughter had the child's chicken curry debatable that it was chicken and the rice was so over cooked and stuck together then I had a panini and chips well chips weren't cooked and the panini was so cooked it was black at the bottom and so hard couldn't eat . Would have taken a picture but so dark ! Will not be rushing...

I've never been a massive fan of Wetherspoons, but seeing how this place has gone downhill, I now appreciate they at least know how to run a pub.
On the plus side the food here is great (better than Wetherspoons), and the staff are friendly (if a little inexperienced).
My advice to the new owners... improve the atmosphere, get the sound system and lighting sorted, and setup a better...
