Ginos Ristorante — Restaurant in Rushcliffe

Having recently moved to this area we were keen to find an authentic Italian restaurant to match our experience at Moda in Hucknall, and Ginos certainly met that challenge. In fact it's a more convivial atmosphere with being a smaller place. Service was quick and food superb. Despite being a cold winter weekday evening, it was full yet food was served within 15 minutes. We are looking forward to trying more of the menu and will most certainly return. Prices were remarkably good, much less than Moda and despite the cost of living increases one experiences at every other restaurant. Went in the week food was lovely, staff great. It's one of me and my partners favourite restaurants. But it was freezing in there. We got put next to the window. I asked if we could put the radiator on. But got told no, there will be more people in soon. What does that actually mean? What to share body heat! We shouldn't have to enjoy a lovely meal in the cold with our coats on. We did get asked if we want to move near the door. Which was...

I visit this place regularly with my friends for a good meal and a catch up. The menu includes pasta, pizza and speciality dishes which are served with beautifully cooked vegetables and a choice of potatoes. The portions are a good size and we have never managed anything other than a main course, but the starters and puddings which we delivered to fellow diners did look good.
