The Frame Breakers — Restaurant in Rushcliffe

Went here for a party. Very hot and seats not very comfortable. Artist was good staff friendly and helpful. Buffet with finger food was one of the best I've had and unbelievable amounts of it were put out. I wasn't keen on the beer personally but others loved it. EDIT: Further to the managers reply to my review let me explain the 3 stars. I complimented some aspects of your operation but in general gave an average rating for what I considered to be overall an average pub. With regard to your sarcastic comments regarding my attire, which you cannot possibly have seen or remembered. I wore a T shirt and Jean's, no jacket. Hardly arctic gear but not the swimsuit that I might have needed. Perhaps the warmth might have been the result of you restricting airflow when blocking the door by putting the artists there. You know the one, its shown on your website with the green Emergency Exit sign above it. Given a fire we might all have been considerably hotter before...

Lovely pub good atmosphere with customers but service was just appalling! Bar staff seem to be there for their own social occasion rather than customers particularly the young female bar staff who served us with a carton of orange juice held to her neck (I’m serious !) whilst continuing her conversation with friends hardly a glance to us as customers. Bar staff held chats while holding drinks and customer and customers had to wait until that were finished and they fed each other pop corn with customers waiting. customers were a distraction to their own Sunday lunch gathering great to enjoy work but customers ultimately pay the wage and shouldn’t feel they are interrupting - as a by the way rustic chips are actually just bog standard chips, food was almost thrown at table by silent server - needless to say wont be back when Ruddington has so...

Had a nice visit to The Frame Breakers today for lunch. The pub is is nicely decorated and there is an outside seating area. Food is cooked and brought to you quickly. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was nice to see that they use local produce and desserts from local businesses.

There was a bit of a glitch with our desserts where they only brought 2 out of 4 but they apologised profusely and offered us something for the inconvinience - overall a very pleasant experience.

For 5 stars I'd say it would be good if the serving staff came and checked in on how the food is - I'm usually the person who dislikes this but we had a few errors which could have been resolved much more quickly if this...
