It's the old Horspools bakery. The staff were very helpful and the quality of the food was very good. Our pananies were piping hot with a small salad, and small coleslaw. It would have been nice if there was a little more salad. The quantity did seem a little on the tight side. Decafe tea excellent. There are toilet facilities which were clean and well looked after. One star docked as the service took a long time considering it was quite, and the place lacks an atmosphere. It needs pictures, plants and decoration to make it less stark. Will try the breakfast if we go again. Its a friendly café with plenty of regulars. Dec 2023 update. We've been here a good few times, had the breakfasts and paninis. We are now getting to kown the lovely staff. They make their own cakes, the food is always fresh and they are always really friendly. It is now one of my favourite tea rooms in the village.

This is a lovely little cafe with a fantastic ambiance. The menu is really good and typical of what you'd find in a tearoom like this. The prices are good and reasonable and the quality of the food and drink is excellent making this tearoom really good value for money! Although there is no car park; there are plenty of spaces on the surrounding streets and getting a spot is incredibly easy. The staff are very friendly and engage in conversation. All in all a lovely place to stop off and have a bite to eat and a drink!

This is a fabulous little cafe! The ambiance is sort of old school meets Great British Bake Off and the food is homemade, simple, and delicious. I had a ham and cheese toastie and a piece of the Victoria sponge. The toastie was made with proper off-the-bone ham (not the reconstituted lunch meat), and was generous with the cheese. It came with some crisps and a salad. The cake was amazing. I had a hard time choosing which one I was going to have because there is a wide array displayed across the counter and in a display case. I think I'll have to go back for afternoon tea one day to sample some of the others. There is no kids menu per se, but they were very accommodating with my 1 year old. There was a high chair available, and when we ordered him his own cheese toastie, we were offered pom bears for him instead of crisps. He was...

We went here whilst visiting Rushcliffe Country Park and we were not disappointed. A very clean Tea Room with friendly service. We had a cooked breakfast with another in our party a Tuna and sweetcorn sandwich. (Lovely thick and tasty bread). I love my tea so was very happy with my very big pot all to myself. Each of us used the convenience and that was spotless also. The cakes looked great but with a walk in front of us we had to resist. So if you are anywhere near the Country Park, treat yourself to this lovely gem of a place just a short walk away. The bonus being it was affordable and we will return again when we are next in the area. Well done to the...
