Woodys Takeout — Restaurant in Rushmoor

Absolutely disgusted by the service received tonight. Called when the order was 30 minutes late to confirm where it was. The gentleman on the phone said that they were really busy, which is understandable, and the order would be with us in 20 minutes. Cut to an hour later, still no food.

We follow up with the restaurant and get told that the food was delivered. The gentleman on the phone even states that he's spoke to the delivery driver and can confirm he left the food outside our door, which it was not.

After arguing the fact that no food had been delivered, he gets very stroppy saying that the longer we keep him on the phone the longer it's going to take to cook our food and deliver it again.

Eventually the order arrives nearly four hours after we ordered. Asked the delivery driver if he was the only one delivering tonight, which he confirmed and then asked if this was the first time delivering to our house tonight which he also confirmed. Open the bag and everything has been thrown in carelessly, burger is squashed and oil everywhere. Not even hungry anymore after all this.

Shocking customer service which is disappointing as we've ordered from this restaurant before without issue.

Recently I noticed the half pounder burger without meal price increased from £5 to £6.

Then a few times you added chips for me so I though you are just being nice and then I realised you have been charging me all this time for a meal price and not putting the chips or the drink!!

Now few times the burger was £4 so I though you dropped the price but now you have lied and charged me £5 all this time since March and I i usually come twice a week if not every week up until now.

The handsome manager is very professional and polite but I saw him once at this branch and the person who takes the orders is very rude and not helpful. One time the burgers were cold even though I made the order and got there in 2 minutes, I think they gave me some one else's order and it was burnt and cooked on old oil when I me tioned this, they just denied that it cannot be cold or burnt/oily...

The guy now just told me minimum deliver is 12 so I made the meal order x 2 and he said it will cost more because we are delivering can you imagine!!!

Not only have they been charging me more and not adding the chips...

My review for Frangos and Woodys takeout (both on the same site).

Woodys offers a huge range of great deals for lunch and dinner, the menu is different to Frangos but is just as nice. Ordered several dishes/meals off Woodys before and loved it each and every time. I would recommend checking out this great food place if you are near the area.

Frangos - Where do I begin with their menu choice? Popcorn chicken, chicken pitta bread and the peri peri chips = HEAVEN! This is my fav thing to order from Frangos which I recently discovered on JustEat. I keep going here as the food is great and the guys are very friendly and happy to help you make the perfect order. THE MILKSHAKES ARE UNREAL! You HAVE to try a milkshake if you are in this area and want a drink. All food is made with love and the FLAVOURS are unreal. I am not a huge fan of hot or spicy food but the Peri Pero chips are just perfect for me! Very tasty and great customer service.

I would highly recommend either of these takeouts to anyone who wants freshly cooked, highly quality, tasty food!
