Just avoid this place. Instead of a nice latte, we got the worst service in the UK. The girl (not the one in the photo) made the latte but probably forgot to add the coffee shots — it tasted just like warm milk. I came back about 30 seconds later, and there was a different girl at the counter with a big queue. I politely asked if I could have an extra shot in my coffee because it was too milky. I was absolutely happy to pay for the extra shot — I didn’t expect it for free. First, she asked for a receipt (they don’t give receipts to anyone there). Then she said she wasn’t even sure I had bought the coffee from them 😅 — even though it’s a tiny island and the coffee was clearly in their branded cup. Then she told me that if I wanted an extra shot, I’d have to join the queue again. I explained that I had just been in that queue and didn’t get what I ordered, and didn’t want to wait all over again. In the end, she refused to help and told me that if I wasn’t happy, I could speak to a supervisor — who was at the cafĂ© on...

Good choice for lunch, a bit of a squeeze but convenient option nonetheless.

This was not our first choice for afternoon tea, but it was the only option -- either because of such or in general this made the location buzzing and packed with persons, not a seat to be found except a few outside. The line was a little wonky and the pick up location was nerve wrecking with boiling teas handed off that couldn't be picked up- tbh the water temp on teas was TOO HOT for comfort. The flavors were good, but not special feeling if that makes sense, it was very much a product line as you grabbed premades from a hot case. It was filling and not a bad experience, just not the most ideal. I think on a less busy time which may never be the case, unsure it would've...

I I ordered two lattes and a tea with milk. I don’t have a problem paying the listed price, but getting only half a cup of coffee is a scam. I asked for extra milk because my cup was only half full and the rest was foam. The woman who made the coffee was very rude and unpleasant — she refused to give me extra milk, and I had to use cold milk from the store shelf myself.

I don’t recommend this Iceland cafĂ©. They’re clearly cutting corners and cheating customers by giving half-filled cups and calling it “health and safety.” I will be writing an email to request a refund for the two coffees I paid for. It’s dishonest, and they’re making money at the expense of...

Extortion. Plain and simple. Fancy names for prawn mayo doesn't excuse a huge price tag! The chicken and bacon sandwich was nice enough but the price is unreasonable. The cans should have been gold plated for what we paid for them! Service was chaos, made worse by the staff barking to 'use both sides' when people were waiting in an orderly manner for the snail-pace till system to serve people. Covid doesn't exist at the Island Cafe. Food is uncovered in the centre of the room surrounded by queuing people. Torpedo filled rolls open at one end so they go stale and let in as much air as possible. Feel like I've been robbed.
