Very bad customer service.

I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years the previous owners were very good they priced there food fairly and served big fresh chicken burgers however ever since they changed owners the food taste has been similar but portion size has been reduced and they have increased there prices so high the competition in the area are much better price wise and quality/taste.

Secondly don’t bother ordered online. 9 times out of 10 they will forget something from your order and when you have already waited 1 hour and received luke warm/cold food they are not willing to redelivery the missing items and they say “order the missing items next time for free” or “we will TRY to delivery” which basically means we will NOT deliver it. I have also had times where I have orders ribs and didn’t receive it then when I called they said they ran out of stock but didn’t bother calling me or refund me. It was like they hope I didn’t recognise the missing order and get away with it.

I feel sorry for the delivery driver as he is excellent and polite but the people who work in the shop don’t have consistently nor put customers first.

Such a shame as golden back in the days was the best in north Manchester and this current golden can be nice too when the food is right but it’s pot luck these days so now I travell to south Manchester to kansas or to Oldham virginias to get my fix or go to the local revivals of golden Philadelphia & mash’Allah Fried chicken which have taken over business as there much cheaper (fairly priced) fresher bigger and most of all they have great customer service.

Fix up golden before you lose even more customers.

Tried them another 3 times after this review and can tell you burgers have gone paper thin and the price has gone up further plus now charge £1 delivery and the online prices are even more than the price hike in store

There single chicken fillet burger meals use to be £3.30 now £5.20

Customer service is still terrible and I had to arguing with them for 20 mins to prove I had missing items that wasn’t delivered then I had to wait nearly 30 mins for redelivey

The ribs and wings are very inconsistent so days it warm so fast hard cold and tiny .

Stick to Philadelphia in your local to this place or go to Kansas or if your near Oldham go to Virginian or Dallas...

Avoid at All Costs - Terrible Experience

My first and last order from golden fried chicken was an absolute nightmare. Where do I even begin? Let's start with the abysmal service - manger was completely disinterested in talking to me on the phone when I wanted to complain about my order he says was busy and would call back and he didn’t.

Now onto the food, if you can even call it that. It was a disgrace. Not only was it tasteless and bland, but it also seemed like it had been sitting out for hours before being served. The presentation was sloppy, and it was clear that no effort went into the preparation.

To top it all off, the cleanliness of the food was disgusting
