Greggs Outlet — Restaurant in Salford

I didn't see any misshapen pasties but there was a load of Vegan Festive Slices! Definitely so last season. They can't still be accidentally making them so I guess they're from frozen stocks 🤷 Anyway, they were 75p for a pack of 3 and tasted just as fresh and festive as they did the day they were put in the freezer. There was a jovial queue going out the door, mostly made up office workers from the surrounding businesses. They seemed to be going for the baguettes and sandwiches brought in unsold the previous day from regional stores and now sold 2 for 1! There was a real social excitement about the place, buzzing with that mystery bargain feel that we all love. I also suspect quite a few people return daily hoping to see if that intriguing someone who always gets the twin pack of Vegetable Slices is there again. Definitely...

Atmosphere and staff very friendly. Been twice, both times spent less than £10 and came out with a lot of food. Spent £8.50 yesterday, I didn’t realise that there was a buy one get one free on sandwiches, sausage rolls and pasties. So ended up with 4 sandwiches, 8 sausage rolls and 8 pasties. (Most of which have gone in freezer)… The downside? two times I have visited and eaten from here and the day after (now)… suffering from dysentery.. so is it really only yesterdays unsold food?
