McDonald’s — Restaurant in Salford

Never been here before and we used the app. The app said it had a drive thru so we chose that option but then it turns out they dont have a drive thru but we weren't able to change our option on the app for a car drop off. Then we tried to get into the store where they had locked the doors and refused to open them until a customer from the inside opened them for us. When we got to the counter I waited for someone to help me however they stared at me then continued to talk amongst themselves. Once someone decided to help us, I explained what had happened and he barely acknowledged me and just shoved a receipt at me and walked off. We ordered for take out and she brought our food over on a tray after 15 mins of waiting.

The customer service skills were terrible, the app is incorrect and the food was cold and mediocre at best. Really thought the standards would have been better seeing as its a new mcdonalds but it was massively disappointed.

Despite ordering for dine-in, my entire meal was presented in takeaway packaging, the excuse being a lack of serving trays. This seemed rather bizarre. The absence of paper napkins throughout the restaurant was another strange oversight. Furthermore, my salad arrived without cutlery, and my apple pie was initially forgotten. While the food itself was unremarkable, the operational glitches were noticeable. They clearly have room for improvement in terms of basic customer service and attentiveness to detail. Today was my second visit. The first occasion i waited 30 mins but thought i would try again. Unfortunately there is little improvement. After having to stand in a huge huddle of people to listen to number being called rather than them being displayed on the screen that they were ready to be collected, I waited 20 mins for a double cheeseburger and fries. But I received a chicken mayo which i had to go back to change. The fries looked like they had been refried as they were dark, chewy and has little potato inside. My colleague opened his order at the office to discover he had paid for 5 chicken selects and had received 4. So disappointing for a fairly new restaurant. It's genuinely put me off going to...
