This is a lovely little stop if you’re ever at media city, you definitely need to try it out… it’ll you’re a little further out, it’s worth the trip to come and try it! The shop is large and roomy with a number of table able to accommodate different group sizes. Coffee machine is a la marzocco so you know it’s a good coffee stop 😎. There are a number of items available in the retail space such as authentic Italian ingredients, coffee and sweet treats. The staff were super friendly and chatty, had a good giggle with them! The food was amazing, I had ‘eggs in purgatario’ with added nduja and it was so nice! Bunch finishes at 1130… I arrived at 1125 and it was all good, the lunch menu looked amazing though so it wouldn’t have been an issue if I wanted to wait for that instead.

I had a truly delightful experience enjoying an Italian breakfast here. The food was simple yet delicious and freshly baked pastries, perfectly brewed coffee, and everything beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect start to my day. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure everything was just right without being overbearing. It’s rare to find such a great balance of good food and excellent service. I recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed and authentic Italian breakfast experience!

We had a lovely visit to Mattina Coffee in Salford Quays! The food was delicious and the atmosphere really welcoming. It’s also dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us – they even gave our dog a free puppuccino which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while they were very busy (which is always a good sign!), the service was still great. A fantastic spot to relax, enjoy good food and coffee. Highly recommend!

I work in the Quays and love trying new coffee shops so I came across this place via instagram so decided to check it out. The cafe is right beside the BBC and is pretty spacious, lots of seats both inside and outside. I had my go to black coffee with soya milk, they seem to do a variety of non dairy milks but they do charge extra for this, which is why I can’t give 5 stars especially because many places I have been to don’t charge for soya milk. Coffee tasted ok, it was too bitter for me so not my favourite blend. The cafe itself is very nice inside, stylish interior, quick service, was not too crowded despite it being a weekday afternoon when all the office people are out on their break. Prices are the same as most coffee shops, they also have some food and coffee beans for sale as well. Overall a decent independent coffee shop/cafe...
