Sanam Sweet House on Cheetham Hill Road is an absolute gem for lovers of authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine! From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for an exceptional experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to guide you through their extensive menu. The variety of sweets is unparalleled, with everything freshly made and bursting with flavor. Their jalebi is perfectly crispy and syrupy, while the gulab jamun melts in your mouth like pure bliss. Don’t miss their savory options either—the samosas are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, filled with flavorful spices and a perfect flaky crust. What truly stands out is the consistent quality and dedication to maintaining traditional flavors. It’s a place that not only satisfies your cravings but leaves you eager to come back for more. Whether it’s for a quick treat, a family gathering, or a special occasion, Sanam Sweet House never disappoints. Highly recommended!

3 stars based on the mithai - Tried this branch for the first time, had the blackforest cake and a small box of mixed mithai. The cake wasn't great unfortunately it tasted a bit rose watery which is odd for a black forest! The mithai was fresh and nice on this occasion cant fault it and would purchase the mithai again but not the cake.

Nice clean shop, things are well organised. Seating was perfect for my one stop of a cuppa and a chicken pastry. Chap on the till was polite, and friendly. Will be back again, as those pastries were the best I have ever eaten!

Rude greeting, guy at front looked annoyed and unenthusiastic immediately, prices are hidden and the food was mid, it literally, tasted like it was stale and old. Gross. The shop itself, yes its small, but that means the cleaning should be easier as there's less too clean, but no. Rust and mold visible to the naked eye. The front desk guy himself was so rude when taking our order. In fact, when questioning prices of sweet boxes, he rolled his eyes and sighed the entire time, like its common sense, when loads of shops have different prices. Sort it out, cos the Rusholme and Longsight Sanam, at least make you welcome, and the food tastes fresh....

To conclude, shty food, shty service and never will go here again, go to a different branch of Sanam Sweethouse...

My review is based not on food but the principles of trade. Ordered food stuff and the bill came to £6. I asked if they accepted card. After a positive acknowledgement, I paid by card. The card machine was presented, but I could not see the screen as that wasn't turned towards me. Card was tapped and I left. Turns out, they charged £6.50. I did have cash too, but just thought this would be easier. If they want to charge a transaction fee, they should make this clear either verbally at the time of accepting the order or have it displayed clearly. It's not a matter of £0.50 for me but a matter of principle. They should not subsidise their operations this way. And no, it does not cost them £0.50 to process a card transaction....
