My wife and I visited Zizi in Salisbury to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! We ordered two calzones: I had the Calzone Carne Piccante, and my wife chose the Calzone Pollo Spinaci. Both were delicious and packed with flavor—definitely tastier and better value than Prezzo’s calzones. The Carne Piccante was a bit too spicy for me with all those chillies (I had to pick some out!), but the taste was still amazing. My wife loved her chicken calzone, though I found the chicken in mine could have been a touch fresher or more flavorful—maybe it was just my palate. For starters, we shared the Chicken Spiedini and Bruschetta, which was a great combo to kick off the meal. The food was the highlight, no doubt! The restaurant’s location is lovely, but parking nearby is limited, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the town centre felt a little run-down on Sunday evening, with some boarded-up houses nearby, which made me question how safe it would feel for my wife to visit alone. That’s the only reason I’m giving 4.5 stars instead of 5. Still, Zizi’s food and atmosphere made our anniversary special, and we’d definitely return for those incredible calzones!

Felt like we were not welcome. We had £5 offer for a pizza. And our friend had buy one get ond free. So sat together as we just bumped into each other up the road. Didn't realise to get the offers you cant sit together. So i said to the lady we would sit on a separate table. She said that was not possible because we came in together. Ater a bit of a chat and her not understanding what we were trying to do. she said we could sit together. So all good. Until she asked what drinks we are having. We didn't want one. So she was not to happy. Then said what starters are we having. We didn't want one. She was not happy at all. Made us very angry now as we felt like we dont earn enough money to eat in the place. We only wanted a pizza as we were off out for my birthday dinner in the evening. Then i went to pay for my £5 pizza x 2 = £10. Bill was £13.95. As she used the our offer on our friends. She couldn't work it out. Unreal its simple. Made me feel very uncomfortable in more than one way. I feel that people on a budget would feel very uncomfortable indeed. If zizzi doesn't wont the lower class in font do offers. Its not about the money its the principle.

A really lovely meal. My friend and I popped in as we were in the area and fancied something to eat on a bit of a budget, but for the amount we paid we were really impressed. The classic pizzas were phenomenal. I had the pinoli and added some nduja sausage onto it. The only thing I'd probably change is I wouldn't bother paying extra for the sausage next time as not very much was added on at all so I didn't really notice it was there. Flavours and portion sizes were fantastic and neither I nor my friend could fault it. We were also served by a lovely person who was very talkative and chatty, had a good conversation with us, and we really enjoyed their bubbly personality. I'm afraid I didn't catch their name but I know they used to be a nurse and were working last night (6/7/22) if that helps narrow it down for those staff reading this review so the praise can be passed on to them! Thanks for a lovely visit :)

Fantastic!!

This is the first time we have eaten out in a City centre restaurant since lock-down has been eased. We couldn't have chosen a better place to go.

The service was brilliant, the waiting staff were clearly under a lot of pressure, but they handled it well. Even though our waitress had a lot to do she still managed to interact with us and made sure we had an excellent experience.

I had the Fonduta Formaggi and my partner had the Mushroom Brindisi to start, both were really tasty. The Fonduta was excellent, you could really taste the different cheeses and the bread was lovely and warm.

I had the Beef Brisket & Venison Tagliatelle and my partner had the Pasta Della Casa, again both brilliant choices. If I am honest, by the time our meals came out, I kind of wanted the Pasta Della Casa, but that says nothing about my meal and a lot about my inability to make a decision. The tagliatelle was cooked just the way I like it, the sauce was really tasty and the portion size was just right, compliments to the chef. The Della Casa was also fantastic, I can testify to this as my partner nipped to the loo half way through her meal ;).

We also brought our 15 month old daughter with us, not only did she enjoy herself, but we also felt really welcome, the atmosphere was brilliant. A great place for a nice family bite to eat, I will certainly be returning with just myself and my partner and there were also groups of friends meeting up for the first time after a long time apart.

I really cannot fault Zizzis and we will be back again soon.

One more thing, not normally mentioned in a review but I feel important at the moment. We all felt safe, there was a lot of effort put in to ensure everyone was comfortable and could have a good time while remaining social distant. There was plenty of space to move about in the restaurant, there were a couple of foot operated hand sanitiser stations and the staff were very good at...

My best friend & I were long overdue a catch up, so we visited Salisbury Zizzi for dinner last night. The waitress who served us was patient & pleasant even though the restaurant was quite busy on a Friday night. There were many things on the menu that we liked the sound of. We decided to go for 3 courses each. We chose Mushroom Brindisi & Caramelised Onion Garlic Bread to start. They were delicious. For mains we chose the Beef & Venison Stufato & Chicken Milanese. After a huge mistake at the chef's end, my meal came out & it was not what I expected to have received. The waitress & manager were extremely apologetic & offered for me to choose something else. So I opted for the Rainbow Vegan Lasagne. I was not disappointed. This was a fabulous choice & I scoffed every bite! For dessert we chose the Chocolate Brownie Sundae (I asked to swap chocolate ice-cream for vanilla & they kindly obliged) & the Raspberry Collins Cheesecake. They looked very pretty & we were pleased with our choices. I just about managed to find room to finish it. A very delicious end to our three courses. It was a nice atmosphere with pretty lights all around & we had an evening full of...
