On my visit to Costa drive through, the person who was working on the till was trying to do their job. Another colleague was constantly rabbiting in her ear preventing her from doing her job properly, resulting in poor service. From what I could hear, the conversation was not anywhere near related to the task at hand or the job they were there to do. The colleague was loud enough I could hear the conversation in the car, it must have been hard for the the person on the till to block her out and concentrate on what she was doing. It caused the drinks order to be wrong, we were not asked if we wanted our points for the rewards card, they didn't offer us a receipt which would have been a useful thing to have as the order was wrong. I paid for a product and for a service. Neither of those were right, infact significantly hindered by another. Had one of them been done properly I wouldn't be writing...

I have been coming here on and off since 2019, however, since i started my studies again in 2025, i have been coming consistently weekly.

I absolutely love the environment to study in for a long period of time. The staff, and in particular, John, is absolutely delightful and really provides amazing customer service. He is very friendly and is always ready to propose new drink ideas, which are fantastic.

I truly believe that having such friendly staff really makes this Costa my favourite go-to. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to relax or have a catch up...
