Crusty Cottage — Restaurant in Sandwell

Terrible service. Ordered through through Uber Eats at 10.30, and food didn't arrive until 12.50. We tried to call for an update and eventually got through at about 12.30. Nobody apologised for our ridiculous wait and the woman I spoke to kept asking me to check outside, even though I'd told her repeatedly I can see my front door from my sofa and nobody had approached the house. I was then told the driver had delivered it and returned to the cafe, and had been knocking on our door. When he eventually arrived, it turned out he'd been to the wrong house, but hadn't to bothered to call to find the right one. Very good place for some breakfast loads of choice, very good prices. I went on a Saturday morning they had loads of staff so service was very quick. They do breakfasts and lunch items such as burgers, baked potato's, sandwiches and even stuff for vegetarians. The ultimate breakfast called the Mega crusty cottage breakfast is £6.95 and consists of 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 hash browns, 2 fish fingers, 2 eggs, beans (choice of plain, bbq, cheese or chilli) , toast, tomatos and mushrooms. In regards to parking if you are driving you can park outside or if busy the pub opposite has a big car park which is always empty so you just need to cross the road. I remember ordering from here some time ago and my taste buds were met with such satisfaction! So today decided to treat me and the kids to take out breakfast. I’ve never been more disappointed in a food establishment, the drop in food quality is substantial and I found the incredibly cheap sausages inedible along with the cheap rubbery cheese... placed on two dry pieces of toast and labelled a toastie. I know times are tough and we are all trying to stay afloat but I’m afraid the choices in poor, cheaper food products this establishment has made over quality products will ultimately be the biggest contributing factor in them...
