What a gem. My dad used to go for drinks with his brothers here. So I wanted to go to see it for myself and take family. But honestly the history of the place and the fact it's still going . It really needs to be advertised on an history website or through black country museum or something to draw in more in the day as it needs to be kept and not lost as so many traditional pubs are going. Read moreVisited for the first time. What a gem 💎 of a Pub situated a short distance from the Town down a little side street. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival, the building is kept in great clean condition from the outside. Very welcoming landlord great selection of cask ales plus the usual beers / lagers, Great cobs for sale also. The rear little beer garden is a little sun trap and very pleasant. The toilets and bar areas are very clean. I will most definitely be visiting again. I highly recommend this place if you like...
Read moreVisited today for dinner, staff where lovely. The food wasn't the best on this visit. We all left our chips we couldn't eat them. They seemed burnt and tasted sweet. Portions where smaller but price had gone up. Looking at the chips they may have been done in dirty fat or oil.. Its sad I have to put this but I feel they need to improve.. Its a lovely pub and team. Just work...
