Read moreWe went as a party of 6, my partners son took us. It doesn't look much from the outside ,but don't judge a book by its cover. Inside a warm welcome from Chico and his staff. The menu is like a book and if you still can't find anything or not sure ask Chico to get Chef to knock something up. To give you an idea of the menu choice 16 different nans, 13 different flavoured rices made of pure Basmati . They blend different sauces to come up with unique flavours. My partner went for a Chicken Schaslik which came with a salad and rice. I had Janter Manter very nice medium to hot. Washed down with mineral water and diet cokes as no alcohol aloud in Glasgow. The best curry house I've been in. Some may say a little expensive. But you pay for quality and that's what you get with excellent service and friendly banter from Chico and staff. Well...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining with a friend here at The Alishan. We received a warm welcome by the owner on arrival. The establishment was small but cosy. The owner has been in business for 33 years. He and a young new waitress who had only been working there for two weeks. Portion size was also generous and thus were suitably priced. The Alishan is well worth trying for those who have a penchant for Asian dining. It is my hope to return on my next visit...
