Beechwood — Restaurant in Scotland

Worst meal ever. If I could give a negative star rating I would!¹ We have been here on numerous occasions and it's probably been on a scale of good to fair.... But not tonight. Stood for a good 10 minutes before anyone could direct us to our pre-booked table (not staffs fault as only two behind the bar on a Saturday night). Despite us being the last party to order, we waited over 45 minutes for cold and congealed food, which we sent back. Next offering was sadly no better. My ribeye was quite simply revolting and one of my friends I think got my rare stake reheated to medium - it was obvious that the chips, peas etc were also reheats! We only ate what we could as we were going on to another venue. To be fair, we were not charged for any of our meals - an indication of how bad they were. But seriously, this pub needs to invest in additional staff, particularly when you also have a function on and you apparently have a chef who thinks its beneath them to actually...

This is probably my favourite pub in the south side of the city. I come here maybe once every other week to enjoy a cigar in the beer garden as they have a sheltered area with heat lamps so it’s great to sit out here, no matter the weather! I have always found that the staff are really welcoming, friendly and kind and service is always quick, even on the busier times such as Friday and Saturday night! This pub has a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, alongside a great food menu with huge variety of different cooked foods for a great price! I had the macaroni and cheese which was cooked perfectly and served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. If you’re looking for a friendly pub, great affordable food and drinks options, bus stops right by the door and a train stop within a 5 minutes walk, then I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great evening!!...

Went hear while awaiting to go and see pink When we entered, people were standing right at the door, smoking very off, putting to non-smokers,as soon as we entered. I thought we were in a night club music far to load that the staff can't hear what your asking for .. found a table went to the bar ordered food and drinks only 1 meal came out said we were still waiting on another was told that's all I ordered went to the bar manager even accused me of only ordering 1 meal .. got ordered sorted and later found out all the wrong table members were being put down for people's orders bit of a shambles tbh and no organisation .. I'm not one for negative feed back usually don't say anything, but I'm sorry I really felt fornthe young girl constantly taking meals to the tables n wasn't...
