I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Black Rooster was so shockingly bad I can’t stay quiet. The girl with the glasses was hands down one of the rudest staff members I’ve ever encountered anywhere. Her attitude was dripping with sarcasm and disrespect from the second I spoke to her.

Cheeky, dismissive, and completely unbothered by the fact that I’m a paying customer. It honestly felt like I was inconveniencing her just by ordering food. No smile, no manners, just pure attitude. If customer service was a test, she’d fail miserably.

This isn’t just a bad day — it’s a reflection of how poorly managed this place is if they’re letting someone like that represent the business. If that’s the standard, it’s a joke. I’ll never be back, and I’ll make sure everyone I know avoids this place too.

Ordered my food to turn out they ran out of half chicken and full chicken!

Got a butterfly instead and it was just all microwaved.

I’m not expecting Gordon Ramsey to bring me my food but when it comes to chicken just grill it! Especially when I could see a grill in the back but it’s just lazy. Only good thing was the chips and drink.

Rice was tasteless Wings were horrible texture and horrible taste. Mash potatoes was exactly as I can think of something that fell out of an elephants backside. Literally was like a white cow pat. When trying to fork it out it literally came out all at once. I can see why their shops are closing. Just stick to Nando’s.

Appalling service but some damn good wings!

Typical new restaurant tactic of not having a card machine to maximise profits by avoiding tax so remember to take cash. There is no sign that states cash only and when asking the waiter about a sign he said its not ready. Then asked why they don't tell customers as they walk in to save them the hassle of running for a cash machine and was told they don't remember who they have told or not so they keep quiet.

The food came out in record time. Double chicken burger was decent but too dry.

They also charge for the little sauce packets that you get for free pretty much everywhere else.
