Visited on a Friday between 17:30 and 19:30 and delighted to say how good it was. We had 2 of the new menu pizzas and a few beers and everything was very tasty and fresh. Whoevers playlist was on was spot on too, every tune a classic if you're an indie fan. Think Oasis, Dodgy, The Verve etc. The choice of beers was better than any I've seen lately too. Loads of Vault City and a barrel from at least five guest breweries. The service itself was incredibly friendly. Read moreSomehow I feel that BrewDog needs a new approach for their bars. Maybe it's just me, but the growing focus upon self service picking cans from fridges is just a bit meh. A barman shouting over the music to take us through the can selection then hastily washing a couple of glasses which were then warm from the wash, he cracks open the cans for us and then we take the lot to a table to pour for ourselves.... just feels like the experience could be better. Read moreIf there was a no star option then it would have been selected. Booked wings Wednesday only to turn up to only two people serving. The place was mobbed and they were obviously understaffed to cope with the constant flow of people wanting drinks at the bar. Waited 30 minutes with not even one bit of contact from the flat out pair (again not their fault). Asked when we would be dealt with only to be told “we are hugely understaffed, we are trying to move as quickly as possible”. Ended up leaving and going to Smokey’s and having fab wings and a smash burger....
