Brodie's — Restaurant in Scotland

Updated: since initial review below the line I’ve returned and tried a cheeseburger with onions which was brilliant so have updated to 4*. Will be trying a few more things over coming months.

——- Heard good things about this place as well as reading some really good reviews.

I stopped by to try for myself and must admit I was a bit underwhelmed. I got a bacon roll and link sausage roll. The bacon was pretty dry and the link sausages were the really cheap ones and not very tasty.

The service was however very fast given how busy it was, and everyone in the shop was very friendly.

I have heard the specials are good and while I was waiting someone in queue said the chips were very good.

Going to give it another chance given the positive things I’ve heard from others and hoping next time...

My go to lunch option when i’m studying! Staff always lovely , often up for a chat and have started remembering my order. Food always tasty especially the paninis, soups and filled rolls - I’m not a massive fan of the burger myself however that’s probably personal taste. There is tons of options for basically any taste buds - I guarantee there will be something you like as they offer dozens of fillings for paninis/rolls/baguettes/toasties and you can mix and match. I find the prices are definitely reasonable for what you get! The store is often busy at lunchtimes - especially during school term time since it is right by the school - However, the queue system means that i’ve always gotten my food in good time - and it’s always been worth the wait ! Excited to keep going...

Haven't been here since school days - was lovely to see the owner and her friendly face ☺️ She kindly let my dog 🐕@Rufus_theRomanianRescue 🐕 sit inside while we waited for food on a hot day. He even got a free sausage, the lucky boy! 🌭 🤗 Their food is still as fresh as ever and the quality is still fantastic. Great chips, paninis, soups and more! The ham is great quality, thick proper cuts rather than wafer thin nonsense elsewhere. The cheese is good too in a panini, not too greasy or plasticky. Really glad we stopped by.
