I'm very pleased the council gave Dundee a park here.

Though one of the smaller grassy parks in Dundee, the lawn is well-used for frizbee, volleyball, picknics etc. It's just a shame that it is regularly destroyed by events which close the entire park for sometimes weeks at a time—especially annoying at the hight of summer.

The wee themed gardens are very nice (understandably, it's hard to find a spare seat on sunny days), and make the whole area much more pleasant, even just to walk through.

Hopefully one day, the empty plot to the east will also be made into parkland, perhaps with some taller hedges to block the roads from earshot. Then it could be a...

Fantastic venue for concerts. Went to two over a weekend and both completely different. One was main body of fans, plenty of space, whilst the gold circle was smaller and did crush up a bit when the main act came on, but this was a spectator issue, nothing to do with venue or organisational issue. This area also have access for wheelchair/disabled persons and their carer to view. Toilet facilities were a bit basic being portaloos, no running water but there was a stand with antibacterial hand wash, which many people failed to use. The drinks and food are were obviously very busy but queues went down quickly It was all card only payment and prices...

A nice place. An open grass space is most of it, the other part is a series of little gardens. The gardens are pleasant, we were there in April so I suspect the blooms would be greater in the high summer. Some of the gardens are inspired by other parts of the world, though to be honest you wouldn't know that for most of them without reading the signs. The American one in particular, apparently that country is just grass?!! That aside they are nice spaces and on a good day a fine place to relax for a while. Dundee is certainly better...

Good venue. Organisation and restrictions prevented us from going to the whole day. No entry allowed. No seats? I can't stand for hours at a time and I am sure others were the same so the venu lost out. Dundee is a super city and the whole place was a buzz with the people like me who had to restrict the time spent standing during the gig. Thousands of pounds spent outside slessor gardens, not so much inside. I feel sorry for the vendors.

It's a patch of grass which in about 30 years time might be surrounded by dull office buildings. If the Eden Project happens there might be a building boom on the back of that but only time will tell. Maybe Rachael Reeves will chuck some evelling up money. What Dundee sorely needs is the decent manufacturing jobs of old. When someone sees no future for them it's no wonder that they turn to drugs.
