A friend and I intended to have lunch today at Café de Paulo (7/9/24). We arrived at 13:10 and there were 6 or 8 tables occupied - we waited a few minutes before the assistant acknowledged us at the counter and were then told there was a 30 minute wait for food. We said that was ok, we’d have a coffee and wait. The response was that a colleague would be back shortly to make coffee. Around 15 minutes later we were still standing at the counter, so I asked again if we could have coffee - I was greeted with an exasperated look from the first assistant, but the second, who was now behind the counter as well, said it would be a few minutes wait. I told them that it wasn’t good enough and the response, although politely delivered, was that they were busy and couldn’t serve us because they didn’t have any clean crockery, so had to wash it first! Consequently, I would not recommend the cafe and will never go there again! If I could have chosen a no-star review, I...

Works are for sale, and mixed fine art exhibitions include locally based artists, some of whom work in the neighbouring studio facility. Fully wheelchair accessible entrance and interior elevator. Parking on surrounding street via meter. Whole complex is better than anyone could...
