The worst place I have ever been! I visited Linlithgow today with my American wife and her brother who was visiting, while they toured the palace I went to the wine celler and got a nice cuban cigar, I wanted a latte to have with it so I ordered a latte went to the loo and came back. I left the shop and took one sip then went back in placed the coffee on the counter and said sorry that is not a latte, what's wrong with it was the reply well did you use that filter coffee in the pot? Yes well that's not a latte, the man proceeded to come out from the kitchen and shout at me for being rude and ordering me out the store. Only two customers sat in the large shop, no wonder, never been so embarrassed by the pure lack of customer service and also trying to pass of filter coffee as a latte??? If I wanted filter coffee with milk heated in a microwave I could make that at home!
Terrible avoid like the plague!!!

   Read moreCame in to this lovely tea room and was greeted by friendly staff. We arrived about an hour before closing so though we'd have a hot drink and a slice of cake each. The drinks were lovely and the caked were moist and moreish. Everything was reasonably priced and was given a stamp card when paying at the end. I would come back again but earlier in the day and try out the food that's on the menu.
