went in with my two friends both 25 years old they were served no problem i however was refused a glass of chardonnay from the manager as i didn’t have identification i told him i’m 23 and tbh i look about 30 and he quite rudely said challenge 25 even tho i had already been served by a much politer member of staff a hour prior 😂 and do u think two clearly grown men are going to be associated with a underage girl use ur common sense hunni , i came here years ago probs 4 and was greeted by lovely female staff and served without questioning ( i looked a hell of a lot younger then than i do now ) as someone whose worked in a bar i understand u have ur license at stake but a bit of common sense and good eyesight would be accommodating . i finished my drink and went elsewhere without issues got the impression the manager was gay and was only interested in having...

Stopped here for a drink here on a busy Saturday afternoon, plenty bar staff working so was served after a short wait. Most of the tables were taken, however found a spot where we could stand or we had a couple of free stools. What was immediately noticeable were empty glasses and surfaces very stick, something that could be easy to get done but possibly not enough staff in general. I've limited mobility so it's a hike to the downstairs toilet. I think that's where I found a big issue, this is a big city centre pub, with no hand dryer or paper towels, which is absolutely disgusting if anyone thinks that this is acceptable in 2024 going into 2025 then we are going back to the dark ages. I have only been an occasional visitor to Morrisons until now, but last Saturdays visit will be the last for me. I suffer from osteoarthritis, which means I hobble when I walk. According to one of the bar staff I had too much to drink because I had been "staggering around", as he put it. It's bad enough having a medical condition, where every step I take is painful, without being refused service because I was supposedly too drunk. (The first time I have ever been refused service for this reason.) I got a friend to get me my drink instead and no one even noticed that I was drinking it, but that is the last one I have in there.
