Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

The shop is clean however the outside area was filthy and despite very quite business, no one came to clean the tables. I picked the dishes myself off the table and took them inside, at the same time noticing one person wandering around the shop clearly bored. I waited a very long time to get served and got a poor, not so like Costa quality latte. While waiting for my coffees for 15 mins, again, despite very quiet time, I noticed that 3 customers receiving orders were clearly unhappy with what they got, noting that one girl spilled her lemonade all over herself as the kid wasn't on properly. On my way out I noticed another very unhappy customer with her iced drink who was on the way to return it and complain. The lady who was serving me was trying to learn how to make a simple peach iced tea and still did it wrong despite her colleague explaining her each step of the way. We called for a coffee as we were shortly going home on the train. I ordered 2 lattes from a rather drab looking waiter who took my money and didn’t say thank you. I took them to the table and sat down, took a drink and it was hardly warm and tasted very weak, you could hardly taste any coffee. My wife had one drink and left the rest. If the young lady can’t make good coffee, and the waiter can’t use any manners, I suggest they hire someone who can, it’s not the only coffee house in Oban. Bought a large latte, hot chocolate & a cappuccino, the cappuccino was half full so I went back in and a guy was sitting at a table on a computer, I said excuse me I bought this 2 mins ago & it’s half full, he huffed slammed the computer shut, marched upto counter & threw it on a table smashing a jar behind him & raging as no one came quicker to clean up, he then made a new drink, baring in mind he never said one word to me , he then said handing me my drink sorry about that, hope you enjoy your drink how many sugars would you like !!, he caused an atmosphere in the shop and the place was busy too,...
