Crema had been recommended by a friend so gave it a try in passing: It was empty, I was the only customer, however the place was presentable and I was made to feel welcome which gives Crema a 5 star atmosphere. The staff were nice, talking away to me and advising me on their house blends of coffee and homemade cookies etc. Customer service goes a long way with me; another 5 stars. I had the coffee to go; thought it was smooth and nice (which means it must be better than just "smooth and nice" considering I was having an off day). Only had coffee so can't comment on the food (of course; like everywhere there is a shortage of gluten-free vegan). *I learned earlier this year that "Crema" means "the light coloured head (foam) at the top of freshly prepared coffee" (I thought it was Latin for a not so nice additivešŸ™ƒ; I'm glad to have been wrongšŸ˜Ž).

Really think this place is great. Been twice and always gone for the regular English breakfast. Best of all it's halal and i really like that desi and english options are separate so if you want English breakfast and someone wants a desi nashta this is the place to go. Breakfast comes in a small and regular which doubles all the items, which I definitely recommend. Saw there were also lunch items like wraps etc, the people next to us had ordered them, which also looked very good. Would like in the future if they had more fresh juice options, but was happy with the j2o options.

I stumbled upon this gem and couldn’t be happier that I did! The friendly barista welcomed me warmly and let me know about their fantastic offer— a free sandwich with any coffee. I went for a pesto mozzarella sandwich, which was delicious, and was also treated to a fresh almond cookie on the house. The coffee was excellent, and the service was truly top-notch. Highly recommend!

Came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast with the family and to say we were disappointed would be the least. Ordered our breakfast for myself and my mum and both plates came out with freezing cold toast. We were half way through our breakfast and still did not have our drinks brought to us. We had to ask for these twice.

My sister and nephew who ordered the royal stack their food came after we had all finished, and the sourdough toast was impossible to cut through.

The girl behind the till has been really helpful however she is the only one who is taking orders, serving food and cleaning tables.

This place needs more staff and if not then it should not even be open as it’s giving out unsatisfactory food. There is another 2 tables who are also complaining about not having their drinks yet and have been here 25 minutes.

We asked for our tea to be brought half way through our food and we were finished and ready to leave and it still hadn’t come out.

If you’re planning on coming with family then I wouldn’t bother as they are unable to cater to large bookings I’d suggest...

Disappointed

I used to come to Crema fairly regularly in last 6/7 years. And it’s always been great.

I went today after 2 years I think… Sadly I took a friend (who never been to a Crema before) and had a not good experience.

It was 3pm and we decided on all day brunch items. I asked for our teas to be served 20mins after food but was brought out first and sent back.

Asked for Eggs Royale without smoked salmon, it came with salmon. Sent back. My eggs florentine (not on menu but was in past) came without sautƩed spinach. Sent back and requested the spinach.

We needed a steak knife as the bread was so hard and stale as was the potato scone. Rock hard.

We ate avocado, mushrooms and eggs as best we could, we were starving and I hate complaining about food as it’s a blessing but spending almost Ā£32 and served this, it was disheartening.

I felt like speaking to the chef guy but couldn’t be bothered. I’m never going back.

Shame.

I shoulda just...

So it was my sisters birthday although we have a party arranged at home thought to take her for breakfast 8 off us went spent Ā£115.00 breakfast came in portion, cold, and honestly what a waste of money, no manager or owner was available and frontline staff were brilliant didn’t have the heat to say anything to them. Eggs were like hard and chewy, toast on one plate were non done basically everything was cold and like out of fridge. When we complained they said can’t do anything steamer not working. Why take order if that’s the case. I wish I went to my usual Chaii Wala but younger sis wanted go here, I have photos to prove what we actually got and the Desi breakfast was really cold. Halva cannot be eaten cold. Presentation was excellent but that’s about it. Disgusted will post on my travel page for others to save themselves from embarrassment of taking someone for breakfast to this place. Will show receipt and food in a video on insta...
