De Marco's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Scotland

On 20/12/2018 at 12pm, went to chippy, ordered chips curry sauce from the lunch time menu. The menu clearly stated the chips and curry sauce was £2. However the girl serving me stated it was an additional £1 for curry sauce. The lunch time menu did not mention surplus charge for curry sauce, and as the item was chippy and curry sauce one would automatically assume the £2 was not including the curry sauce. I believe the person serving doesn't know the difference between lunch time menu and the other main menu, or Dr Marcos do not know that all prices must be clearly shown when selling items . Worst takeaway I have ever had and that is saying something! Two burgers, chicken and beef, no salad but it did say they came with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Both sesame seed burger buns were burnt all round the top and bottom of the buns. I don’t know why they were cooked at all? Probably as the chicken burger and beef burger were frozen previously and therefore completely tasteless. Just ordered some fish and chips x 2 and a small pizza for a night in with the kids on the 22nd Dec 2018. I normally don’t review take always but felt it best to leave this review in order for the manager or chef to improve their quality of food. The fish was very dry, in fact bordering on the same texture as dry toast so this was put in the bin. The pizza was also very over cooked and my little one who normally doesn’t leave anything from a Pizza left most of it.
