I think this store has been taken over by new people or something because it used to be great and any issues dealt with in a prompt and satisfying manner with good customer service, however as of late (the last few months or so) they can't get an order right and also don't want to address issues after making mistakes.
Trying to get anywhere with these new people is stressful and frustrating between what seems to be a bit of a language barrier as well as their lack of regard to actually get your order right.
The last 3 times dealing with them there has been an issue every time, from getting the food wrong, or the order simply not showing up with no communication after over 2 hours and myself as a young woman standing on the dark street corner late at night thinking I was waiting to assist a busy delivery driver working late, before ultimately going to bed at midnight on a work night with no dinner. Then told the next day the car broke down...? Why not call me then to let me know at least?... to losing (?) my details regarding the replacement order I was owed and then ignoring the fact I was due a free replacement before trying to charge me again including a re-charge for delivery.
The have also hung up on me on one occasion whilst trying to discuss one of aforementioned and refused to let me speak to the manager, leading me to make a formal complaint before.
Today I tried to get my replacement order from the last time having an issue wihch took around 20 mins of comunication back and forth with 2 people across 2 phone calls, before ultimately settling on my replacement papadia to be sent out with one more we would pay for. I tried to add on a dip as well, and was told no dont worry a dip comes with eac papadia.
So the 2 papadias then arrive. With 0 dips. honestly a total joke by this point they cannot get any order right. Give it a miss and go to another papa johns, if any, I dont know whats happened to this one but...
Read moreIt's been a long tome since I had ordered Pizza for a delivery, but I was tempted to try Papa Johns having seen their menu was featuring a Tandoori Chicken option.
Delivery on a Wednesday evening was quick. Ordered at 6:45pm, it was delivered at 7:15pm. The delivery driver was polite and friendly.
The two pizzas I ordered were hot and delicious. All of their elements tasted fresh. The dough was crisp and had a lovely, chewy crust.
My only disappointment was that, as seems to be usual for all the chains, the dip was Garlic, which I can't stand. Why can't we be given a choice?
I am fortunate enough to have several pizza delivery options to choose from locally, but I have often been left disappointed by the lack of toppings (D**) or really greasy (P H**) orders that I've had delivered.
Based on my experience this time, Papa Johns Paisley will be my first choice when I next get...
Read moreAccidentally ordered food for a collection instead of delivery, called the restaurant to ask if possible to change to delivery, unfortunately delivery wasn't an option as they just don't deliver to my place. Asked to cancel the order, was refused as apparently my order was "ready" even if I called right after I ordered, staff told me that they need permission from their boss to cancel the order. Haven't heard from anyone for the rest of the evening. Called twice to be informed that they will call me back when they will hear back from boss. Called next day for any updates, been told that team leader will be available after 7pm. When arrived to speak to them been told again that can't get refund as boss didn't get back to them. Ended up with getting my food. Never heard sorry from team leader. Very poor customer service. Definitely...
