A visit to St Andrews is always special - and a visit to The Golf Pub made the experience even better. The place has a unique atmosphere: the walls are full of photos of legends and celebrities who have been here, so you really feel like you're part of the history of the game.
The people were fantastic - both locals and golf enthusiasts from all over the world. It's one of those places where it's easy to strike up a conversation at the bar and immediately feel welcome.
The drinks were great too - a good selection of beers, whiskies and of course some local Scottish specialties. The staff were friendly, quick and obviously love the game as much as the guests. Of course, golf is also on the screens in the pub.
