Wow! Imagine a McDonald's with a hint of subway, then square the price and remove the half the portion. Barely any seats, the layout is inefficient resulting in empty seats and crowds of people waiting for there food like it's Argos.
The "Vegetable Sandwich" is a soggy roll filled with soggy vegetables, all of which would be free toppings. You are paying £3.75 for a soggy roll.
Paid £5.25 for "All Beef Hot Dogs" which was a small and thin sausage in a very soggy thing roll. The "free toppings" pure marketing and subsidized by the over priced everything. You barely get any toppings anyway.
Chips where decent, served in small juice cup, upside down in a paper bag with the rest of your food. Everything was covered in Cajun seasoning, everything.
You'd be better with litterally anywhere else. Atleast you know what you are getting with a McDonald's, and it would have cost half the price. Quality of the food was remarkably unremarkable and I'd go as far to say the presentation of a McDonald's meal is much better.

Read moreMy first time at this store, having tried Glasgow fort a few times and being impressed.
2 bacon cheese burgers, 1 hot dog, 2 chips, 2 shakes = £54. Which would be acceptable if it was good.
Burger buns were squished and the burgers tasted extremely bland. And yes I loaded them up with toppings - onion, mushrooms, Mayo, ketchup.
The cheese and bacon hotdog was a cheap tasting and it was very thin. It was sliced down the middle and fried on the hot plate and served in a tiny bun, pretty greasy.
The Cajun chips tasted and looked like reheats. The bag was full but more doesn’t equal good.
The strawberry milkshake tasted stale, I don’t know how that’s possible. However, the chocolate milkshake was really nice. Shame they were both served 10mins before my food was ready.
Unfortunately, we won’t be back.
I would rather drive further for a “down the hatch” at Queensferry or “burger 7” out airdrie way. Far tastier food and much more for your money.
Disappointed to...
Read moreHaving been to loads of five guys all over the country, i can say hands down, this is the worst five guys ive ever eaten in.
The place is nice and clean, and the staff are friendly, but thats as good as it gets.
The two soda dispensing machines weren’t working, the touch screens were unresponsive, then half the options weren’t dispensing.
The fries were luke warm and limp, and full of black ends, not burnt, but the blackness from leaving potatoes out in the sir from a long time.
The burgers were cold and limp, nothing like ive ever eaten at any five guys in the uk.
Hands down, my worst experience in a give guys, just avoid it...
