Juniors Play Cafe Hamilton — Restaurant in Scotland

Staff weren't welcoming or approachable at all, seemed like a group of high school kids not qualified to be running a place for young children. Swearing, rude language etc as if there's no one else around. Atmosphere was so bizarre, me and my son felt like we were at a party we weren't invited to as everyone seemed to know each other.

Everything was filthy, toys, ceiling, floor. Really grim environment to let your kids run around. Really outdated and bad murals on walls and overall feels really dingy in there, quite depressing when you're paying to be there. They were playing far too loud music like baby shark etc which was weird as it was distracting. I thought it would be a relaxing atmosphere where I can have a drink while my toddler does some independent play. Toys are all mismatched, not cleaned clearly ever, and just shoved in random boxes dotted about. Obviously not replaced their toys for years, nothing has batteries etc.

Also, parking is a total nightmare. No parking there, church St beside it is tiny and always rammed, so you have to go to the multi story car park 10 mins walk away which is so horrifically outdated and scary if you're a mum with a toddler.

Overall super poor experience. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back. I felt like I was in a time machine back to the 90s. No idea why people like it here or why it's still open. Mould and dirt all over the ceilings. No way it can be clean or safe enough for...

Absolutely love juniors it’s amazing my 8 year old started coming to juniors when he was a baby when they opened in Larkhall and returned when they opened in Hamilton. Recently joined baby massage every Tuesday with my youngest son and he loves it. Also attend the ASN sessions on a Wednesday night and a Friday with both my boys and they love it. Staff are amazing always so welcoming and they just love kids. They are amazing with all the kids that attend juniors during the day. You get to know the staff who work here and they are amazing as always. Annmarie and Lesley are also amazing they work so hard to make sure all the kids are safe and happy. Definitely the safest place to bring your children. Wouldn’t go to any other soft play apart...

Really disappointed after hearing good things about Juniors. As soon as we walked in there was an overwhelming smell of dampness and mould. Which surely is not healthy when the play cafe is aimed towards very young children. The ceiling was damp and leaking, had holes in it and buckets were being used next to the play area to collect the water. The toys were all very dirty and had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. We asked for our deposit back and left straight away and...
