KFC — Restaurant in Scotland

Poor customer service! The staff, he should be the senior, very rude manner and impolite when asked questions. I just walked in straight to the front of counter and I saw the food was just ready. There was no other customers standing there and the screen only shown my order number at that moment. He asked me "is it a collection order?", i didnt get what he meant and I just told "take away". He repeated his question again, so i asked him what you mean of collection order? He replied it means you order from online. I said Yes. Then asked me what is my order no. I told him right away. Then he passed me the food and said Here you go. His attitude is very rude and i do not understand why he asked if this is the collection order. Why he not simply asked me the order number so he can confirm that i am the right person to order? Also, there were no other customers' orders at that moment, there should be no confusion. I have experienced this poor customer service from this same staff few years ago. He was again very rude and asked impolitely. Because English is not my first language, i didnt understand what he said sometimes. He then showed his impatience immediately. Worst kfc experience to date. Went in to the restaurant to multiple dirty tables which hadn’t even had the food trays removed. Ordered through the self service screens and waited to collect my order. My order showed up to collect but my number was never called out by staff for me to collect it as it hadn’t been made up and I then had to ask staff myself to get my order which they then had to check the system for because they had cleared the order from the order screen. I then went to sit in the upstairs seating area as the downstairs on didn’t have any clean tables to be greeted by toilets which you could smell throughout the whole dinning area and more dirty tables. During our time there another customer also changed their young child’s nappy on the dinning area tables because the nappy change area was out of order meaning that if anyone was to sit there and eat their food after they had gone there would be so much cross-contamination. The staff during the time of my visit we’re very lazy and chatting amongst themselves ( this included the shift manager) rather than cleaning up the restaurant or restocking the straw and napkin area . The food was good as always but the service and hygiene of the restaurant was very disappointing. I will not be eating at this...

Used drive thru, they forgot part of the order even after we asked before driving away "is that everything?" as honestly the bag felt a little light. They also gave no receipt so when returning to the drive thru they asked our order number which we couldn't provide due to the lack of receipt, after listing off our ordered items they located our order number and provided the missing items.

Food was not up to scratch... Watery gravy that didn't taste right, hot wings were more soggy than crispy with chewy meat.. One of the burgers had a rogue piece of sweetcorn in it and the other burger had next to no sauce or Lettuce... Chips were pretty typical for KFC chips to fair, slightly soggy and unsalted..corn on the cob was not seasoned or buttered and seemed a little undercooked...and to top it off we had to play a guessing game over which drink was which as they missed the opportunity to press the fun little buttons on the cup lids that indicate "diet" etc.

Overall a very disappointing experience, and we didn't exactly have high expectations as its a KFC at the end of the day, but safe to say we won't return to this...
