Unfortunately since our last visit the la dragon has went downhill , we had booked a table for 6 45 pm for four we met in the cocktal bar at 6 pm it was very busy after a couple of drinks we inquired about our table as the were taking a few people down to the restaurant. At 7.30 we asked again the waiter said it would not be long,at 7.40 pm we were taken down and to our surprise we could no get down the stairs as people were Waiting to get in it seemed they were letting people walk in and get tables straight from the street On sitting down i asked to speak to the manager when he came over i said I was a unhappy about waiting nearly an hour for our table when he was allowing people to walkin off the street to get tables said the least he could do was adjust the price of our meal which he was unwilling to do and his attitude was poor the whole resturant was overcrowded hi attitude was take it or leave which we said we would leave he did not care we left and were Waiting for our taxi outside when a member of his staff a young girl came out and said she was disgusted the way he spoke and treated us and that he had tried to drag her along the passage which iswhen she decided to leave as she had had enough a very poor show all round and we or our friends will not be...

Food was exquisite: bursting with flavours and top quality produce. The satay, won ton soup and panfried beef were all excellent.

The table d'hote menu offered excellent variety, with a strong Thai theme and a simple, sensible, good value pricing system. The malbec was an excellent and very reasonably priced accompaniment to our meal. Two substantial starters, two delicious and filling main courses and the bottle of wine came to £74 (plus generous and thoroughly merited tip, of course) represents

Every aspect of La Dragon is most highly recommended - there is even a champagne bar upstairs for pre- or post-prandial enjoyment on site. We were there midweek, so did not sample, but it has an excellent reputation locally.

From booking our table to leaving, we had the perfect dining experience. Reassuring, quick and simple COVID temperature check on entry. Parking is also available, right at the door and the friendly, efficient, yet not overbearing service completed the...

Celebrated a family birthday here. The service was very good and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was not bad, but it wasn't great either. 2 people out of a group of 7 of us had odd sauces with our dishes. 1st dish was meant to have a Plum sauce, which is thick and sweet, but this sauce was spicy, garlicky, and had chilli in it, definitely not a Plum sauce. 2nd dish was meant to have a sweet & sour sauce, but it was all sour, no sweetness to it at all... I only ate half of it. It's a shame because the cooking of the meat was tender, but both dishes spoiled by the sauce. 1 pudding price was taken off the final bill, because it was more greasy than it should have been. I was impressed they took the cost of the pudding off the bill. Overall, I'm not sure I would go back, as no matter the decor or the service, eating out is expensive and everyone wants to get what...

Went today for Lunch, genuinely think I’ve found our new favourite Chinese restaurant. The service, atmosphere & just the whole overall set up was great. Recommended to a few friends & family already. Although we are from the far end of Glasgow we go to the Cotton House & Lychee a lot but this is worth the journey down. Best salt & chilli chicken I have ever tried. The chicken curry is very fragrant but the right amount of flavours and spices. Highly recommend. Service was great too, just the main host & one other guy on today but very attentive and made sure everything was good/topped up. It isn’t the cheapest you will try but it’s the quality, you won’t find like this anywhere else. Looking forward to going back.

Beautiful spacious place with ample seating. I went at 4.00pm on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. A cosy cocktail bar upstairs if you have to wait for your table. I never had to wait but it turned out to be a perfect end to our evening!. The food arrived in good time and was great. I started with the salt and chilli shredded chicken, lovely, and the main course was special chow mein which had bags of flavour. A very cheap night if I never went overboard on the cocktails....
