I'm a customer and an Uber Eats delivery driver. 15 Dec 2021, at 23.13, I come to pickup a delivery order. The manager said they're closed, they're not going to make the order, they don't have control of the Uber machine to switch it off, "It's Uber," they are at fault, and orders are still coming in after closing time and wasting my time and fuel for no gain, and bad for the environment, and unhappy customers waiting for their food. What's worse is, she says, "Take it up with Uber." No responsibility taken for their own opening times on their Uber machine.
Not one star because my meal was ok. Actually, my deluxe hot chocolate's whipped cream had completely melted with no trace of it and I asked about it. Same woman just said, "I swear to God it was on, 'cause I did it." Ok, that's ok. That's normal service. Excellent service would be, I'll add a bit more on for you. But no problem.
Maybe that's why the rate is higher up this end of Glasgow for doing deliveries in this area... Drivers...
Read moreIt seems very busy but it is a tiny spot with a small car park and tight drive thru. I walked in as I was staying in the hotel next door. I ordered using the machines as no one was at the tills (which is normal nowadays). The machines said no table service available but there were plenty of tables free - albeit not cleaned.
The machine didn't print a receipt so when I saw someone receiving their order I quickly asked the staff member for a copy of my receipt.
Big mistake.... however I needed one as I was using the company card. I wanted 15minutes before someone could work out how to print me a receipt. I've never experienced anything like it. By this point my food had gone cold and wasn't really very nice at all.

Read moreThis McDonald’s franchise in particular seems to be the only one which I experience problems with. Terrible organisation, management clearly isn’t doing its job properly, disgusting work ethic & overall the food is at low standard and they’ll probably get your order wrong before you receive it. I’d suggest to the HR team to look into this franchise as it’s clearly not performing as well as others within different areas. If you’re reading this I advise you avoid this restaurant and go to a different McDonald’s if you’re desperate as you will not enjoy your food, I can guarantee you that.
