I wouldnât recommend this place, cuz I didnât get the normal attitude a restaurant should have. The staff is aloof and impolite.
This is the first time to here and I was recommended from my friend many times of the bagels here. After ordering and paying for my food I was waiting for about 15 minutes, I saw some people who ordered after me has already started having meals in this period. And I observed the other table, the customer got their food for about 3-4 mins after they sit in there. I wonder why three people only need to wait for 4 mins, but I wait for 10 mins. A male staff passed me many times but no one asked me, treat me like the air, just like I am not exist. After I went to the counter, I asked one of the staff(btw this place has 4 staff today, I think itâs needless cuz you guys forgot a customerâs order) should I need to get my food by myself after ordering? She said, we will deliver it to your seat. I said I wait for 10 mins after ordering she asked me what did u order and asked to the female staff with the black shirt who in charge of order and payment in the meantime. The cashier woman(black shirt) seems like she forgot and opened the bagel machine exaggerated, suddenly a very surprised look on her face. I think you did it deliberately, you just forgot my order in all of customers. However, NO one apologized to me.
After finishing my bagel, I ordered once again for takeaway. I waited outside and the staff sent the food to me for a while, a latte and a bagel in her two hands, no paper bags for takeaway. I think itâs so funny, I saw the previous customers all have the bag for takeaway. But why not me? Then I asked for it, and the staff take me one.
The food in the naked soup tastes nice but the staff is so impolite, bad luck for me to meet the staff. It was so obvious that I was discriminated against by the staff, shame on the people with prejudice. This guys need to learn a customer service, learn how to treat with people in their life(at least not a RACIST one) Your terrible service attitude is totally at odds with the cute Snoopy logo in the restaurant!!!
Ruin my day! Welcome to the naked soup if you donât care the IGNORANCE of...

My wife and I stopped by for a relaxed late-lunch yesterday, and it turned out to be a highlight of our day. Being greeted by an enthusiastic member of staff not only made us feel welcome and settled but they also took the time to chat about the dayâs soups and bagels plus recommending their personal favorites.
We both opted for soup and shared a bagel â simple, comforting, and exactly what we wanted on a bitter cold-winded day. I had the sweet potato, lentil and coconut soup, which there are no words to decribe how good it was. We opted to take the staff member's recommendation and went for the one with the mortadella in it. This was equally delicious, perfectly complimented with both the style of bagel and the mayo and not too rich. My wife chose the lemon chicken and orzo soup (luckily before it sold out!) which was full of flavor, accompanied by a soft, chewy and fresh slab of focaccia. It was the kind of satisfaction you only get from homemade food, prepared with proper passion.
What really stood out, beyond the fantastic food, and the immaculate interior (loved the lighting!), was the staffâs warmth. They spoke about the ingredients, coffees and their kitchen team with real pride and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
The genuine cozy, laid-back, continental vibe of Naked Soup, is unlike anything else in Glasgow and somewhere weâll happily return to for another bagel and soup date or a few last-night wines. Well done to the owners - you've done a fantastic job, your staff are a credit to you and you've got an absolute gem of a business...
Read moreI want to preface this review by saying that the soup is very good. However, my friend and I walked into this place and as soon as we walked in we were ignored and although the cafe was empty, the staff members seemed to be avoiding eye contact with us and we felt pretty confused on whether or not to sit down and if there is a menu available or not. Eventually, after sitting down for 5 minutes with the staff awkwardly avoiding us, I walked up to the counter. This made me feel even more confused, because the staff did not clarify at all whether or not I should order at the counter or at the table. I felt pretty humiliated trying to navigate this weirdly elitist feeling cafe. Then my friend was told off for having her feet placed on the chair, and although this is an absolutely fair request to make, we were made to feel scolded and as though we were back at school. Since he didnât smile, and whilst sitting there eating my soup, he kept giving my friend daggers. Overall, this experience felt pretty awkward and I felt like I was at a modern art museum and being put down for not understanding the art.
I think this cafe really needs to work on its customer service, but thatâs not to say that all of the staff...
