COST £14.50 CHARGED £15.70. ENQUIRED WHY? APOLOGISE FROM MANAGEMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN £14.70 ? SORRY NOT MENTIONED 20P FOR FOOD BAG. ONTO THE FOOD WELL NOT SURE WHY THEY CLAIM TO BE THE BEST INDIAN IN GLASGOW?? MADRAS CURRY WAS JUST NOT RIGHT . MANAGEMENT WAS VERY SORRY AND GAVE ME MY MONEY AND THE OVERCHARGE BACK AND MY PLATE WHICH I HAD TAKEN TO SHOW THEM. Read moreI have been getting takeaway from this restaurant for a good number of years. I rang to order my usual meals to find the number was unavailable which I found odd. I continued to ring for a further 20min constantly to eventually get through. It took me almost 10 minutes to place the order. Chap on the other end kept repeating back to me the wrong order to which I corrected in total of 5 times, told to wait, wasn’t listening, to be eventually told it would be 20min for my collection. I arrived 20min later to collect my order to find the entire order was wrong. I asked about the difficulty getting through when I arrived to be told they have added additional phone lines and apologised, apologised for the entire order being wrong to which I had to wait a further 20 minutes for it to be made.
Got home with our dinner eventually for the vast majority of it to go in the bin! I ordered a sag paneer, it was a tub of EXTREME salty badness sauce that went in the bin with little to no paneer. The chicken dishes were of much the same standard - dried out ( overcooked), not much of it was edible.
Unfortunately the Nakadar seem to be be driven over numbers (orders, £’s ) over quality of their orders. Would I return - absolutely not! I would avoid here at all costs if you want to be out of pocket and hungry! Dining in the restaurant itself may be a totally different experience, can send stuff back instead of it...
Read moreBeen dining and taking away from Nakodar Grill for almost 10 years even had an event there! Today, we placed an order for collection for oldtimes sake to say we are disappointed is an understatement! They didn't get our order right but got something else that wasn't even mentioned at all when i had asked if they had gluten free naan of which i was told of Chapati as an option and i said no. I called back regarding the mix up not an initial apology was given instead a back and forth of staff process and how customers are treated equally no idea of it's relevance to that! Frustrating to think that as a customer of many years i was made to feel i had no flipping idea of my order. No admission of error for swapping an item on our order as minimal as it might seem( a meal swapped for another) But a half hearted apology at the end with the option of picking up my replacement is an absolute waste of time! Well done for an excellent job at poor customer service to whoever took my order and picked...
