Old Swan Inn — Restaurant in Scotland

Not my usual choice of pub. My friend called asking me to meet for a couple of pint, so off I went. I was very impressed with the covid protection screens in place devideing the tables, and on the bartop. I was asked straight away if I had a booking, which I didn't but as my friend was there it wasn't a problem. Just quick sign in giving my details. One way system in place , which I hadn't noticed when I went to the toilet, but followed it there after. Was pleased to see Paul working behind the bar, so you know service will be extremely professional. I didn't venture into the beer garden as wandering about isn't advisable during these times, but if the precautions in place are on a par with inside they'll be good. On a whole a very enjoyable experience with everyone of the bar staff getting 10 out of ten. I've only been in 3 pubs since reopening, and The Swan is by far the best with covid protection...

Great venue great location in the town centre. If live music is your thing this is the place to go. Full of atmosphere the booze is cheap the clientele are all there to enjoy themselves expect great service from the bar staff loud music. Great company and a fantastic night. Check ahead as some events are ticket only so your not disapointed. Relaxed dress code and a good mix of age groups. Will definitely...

Went in today(24th May.)..was a nice freindly attitude until it came to 6.30..The guy came over and put a reserved paper on our table.?..Just ours.?..He said this is reserved?..I asked him why is it just our table?..He said wee weren't regulars.Wee have spent a lot of time in this establishment, but probably not on his shift,and recommended it to our friends and families..so...
