Papa Jacques — Restaurant in Scotland

My first time returning to Jacques in quite a few years, but an office Christmas party was needed to be had and it was here. My rating of the food was from the Christmas menu, based on value for £20 - Chicken goujon starters, steak pie main and sticky toffee pudding dessert.

I can't complain about any of them, but none of them were spectacular either. The festive burger that a colleague had was not appetising looking at all - looked dryer than a camels armpit to be honest.

But the service was good, the other patrons out for a good time and a decent night...

Lots of different vegan burgers which is very nice to see. I had the Thai version, it was tasty (nothing special though). My mom had fish and chips, but she felt like the fish tasted frozen.

Went for lunch yesterday and had steak pie it was excellent there was plenty steak in the pie and the top crust was nice too I had chips with mine and my wife had mashed potatoes we would both recommend this place to family and friends we will be back there very soon...
