I'll go with what was great to the best: The food was amazing, really authentic, my Chinese friend wanted to get something that's truly authentic, he had a 3 type roast and stated that it can take over a week to prepare. He was overjoyed. I had Malaysian Chicken curry, never tasted anything like it Beautiful with such tender chicken. The only thing better than the the food was the service. Been a waiter & bartender all my days and I have to say the lad has got it right 💯 best service in Glasgow. Also spoke with anouther seprate waiter who wasn't serving us, blonde highlights good lad, good waiter hopefully ye manage to quit smoking one day bro. Had hoped when it opened it may be an unofficial successor to Asia Style. Unfortunately, nothing I've tried over a couple visits was as remotely tasty as Asia Style. For example, the kangkong was just bland, completely lacking the delicious fermented prawn richness of Asia Style. I know I shouldn't compare, but my mind is too often distracted by the many memories of how wonderful Asia Style was, and visiting this current iteration just reinforces my terrible regret it is no longer with us, and that I should have visited it more frequently to ensure it didn't disappear.
