Taste of China — Restaurant in Scotland

Would have gave it zero stars if allowed. Me and the wife got each a portion of "chicken" (and I use that term loosely) with green pepper and black bean sauce. When we arrived back at our cottage and opened it the first thing I noticed was the smell. It was a horrible smell, of which I can only describe as smelly feet it smelled stale and off. Despite this I plated it up and thought I'd give it a try, first bite Into the disgusting mushed up slop of which was meant to be chicken and the actual taste of the sauce was enough to make me nearly vomit. Both me and my wife could not eat this mess of a meal it got flung right in the bin. Please do not eat here...

They seem to be prioritizing speed over quality here for no discernable reason. The food was ready in something like five minutes at peak time when busy but everything had been stuck in the fryer and for far too long. Every item we ordered had been burnt in the fryer except for the char siu/roast pork fried rice which was actually pretty decent. I would recommend avoiding this place, or at least making sure that nothing you order has been put in...

The ribs were fantastic would give them a 5 star. Spring rolls were lovely. Prawn honey chilli chicken was fab. The house chow mein noodles were great but the chicken and beef in it were horrible. The Mongolian chicken was inedible because the chicken was so awful. In summary don't est...
