We stopped for lunch and got a haggis pizza with black pudding etc, for 17 pound we expected a good filling pizza. The pizza was 70 percent doe. Was the lightest covering of tomatoe puri. A smidgen of haggis. And a small handful of cheese. Was actually quite poor. The pepperoni pizza was exactly the same. Very disappointing. The chips we also got in a bowl had a hair on the top chip. I didnāt say anything about that to the boy as I didnāt want to cause a scene. Embarrass myself and the boy, and draw attention The only thing was excellent was the coffee. That was absolutely delicious. But the food was a very poor standard. Plus tip we paid 45 pounds. It was like 20 pounds worth of food. Visiting Inverness area again, I wouldnāt come back here.
After looking at other reviews, may have just been 1 off day as other reviews look great. But when we cut the pepperoni pizza picked up the slice, the thin layer of cheese just instantly slid off it and all we are left with is doe.
To me each customer should be served with the upmost surreal satisfaction of the food theyāre paying for. As 45 pound is not cheap. And for that our food should be a five star, definitely not a 2 star.

I am very glad that you sell poor pizza s to people. And they like it. More profit for yous. We order pizza at Toni macaroni often. Itās filled with toppings. Big bits of sun-dried tomatoes chicken, stuffed after half of it. (Cost Ā£15) quality (better) Pizza there was a real letdown.
No reply about the hair that was on the chip I see. (That was pretty...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've never had proper authentic Italian-style pizza before, i always made do with a frozen pizza from Tesco or something to go from a turkish takeaway, but by god after having a taste of what Italy offers i really have to reconsider what i praise as good food
According to the staff everything is fresh - i believe that 100% Their pizza dough is wonderfully soft and baked in a proper wood-fire oven, and all the toppings used are meaningful and can be tasted! by far the best pizza i've ever had, and my rather critical grandmother when it comes to restaurant food agrees as well
i am biased, i know the guy who man's the counter very well, and the trip up from inverness is worth it for a chat alone... but the promise of good italian food, a clean environment and a professional yet casual atmosphere means that I - someone who doesn't go out for much at all - will be taking the trek there more often than i initially intended to.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Italien Job, and I can honestly say it was one of the best food experiences Iāve had in a long time.
From start to finish, everything was spot on. The starters were full of flavor and beautifully presentedāfresh ingredients, perfectly balanced. Then came the pizzas: crispy crusts with generous toppings and that unmistakable wood-fired taste. Truly authentic and absolutely delicious.
And just when we thought it couldnāt get any better, the desserts arrivedā a dream.
On top of the amazing food, the staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. Attentive, welcoming, and full of great recommendations. You can really feel the love they put into both the service and the food.
The Italien Job may be a small place, but it delivers big in every way. Canāt wait...
